During their visit, the college had the opportunity to see what modern manufacturing techniques, technologies and production methods are being used in design and manufacturing on the Seaeye systems, with the aim to incorporate these into their curriculum. This included an overview of the production line setup process for the Seaeye eM1-7 electric manipulator.
The tutors were also able to engage with the current and former apprentices', discussing their roles and progression within the company.
